What is different here

Web development in Singapore is a speed and trust problem

The constraints that shape a build here are regulatory, linguistic and competitive rather than technical. We plan for them before design starts.

A small market with unusually high expectations

Singapore buyers compare a local supplier against global SaaS products on the same afternoon. A website development company here is judged on load speed, clarity and how quickly a decision maker can reach a real person, not on how many animations sit above the fold.

Multilingual and multi-device by default

Audiences read in English day to day, but Chinese, Malay and Tamil content is common for consumer brands and public-facing services. We plan language handling, font stacks and URL structure at the sitemap stage rather than bolting a translation widget on later.

PDPA shapes how forms and data are built

Enquiry forms, CRM syncs and marketing consent need explicit purpose statements, a named contact for data queries and sensible retention. We build consent into the form logic and storage rather than adding a policy page and hoping it covers it.

Mobile networks are fast, patience is not

Connection speed is rarely the bottleneck here; heavy page builders and unoptimised media are. Custom website development services should ship less code, not more, and Core Web Vitals are measured before launch rather than diagnosed after a drop in enquiries.

Web design & development services

What a web development firm should actually deliver

Our website design and development services cover the same four areas on every engagement. The depth changes with the size of the build, the approach does not.

Custom web development services

Server-rendered applications built with a modern React stack, versioned in git, deployed through a review environment. When a booking engine, quoting tool, member area or integration is central to the business, it is built properly instead of forced into a template.

  • Custom web design and development in one team
  • API and third-party integrations
  • Staging environment and code handover

Web design and web development together

Design and build are not handed between two suppliers. Interface design, component library and front-end code are produced by the same people, which removes the gap where most website design and development projects lose fidelity and time.

  • Design system and reusable components
  • Accessible states designed, not retrofitted
  • One accountable team for both halves

Ecommerce and platform builds

Shopify for catalogue-led retail, WordPress where an editorial team owns the content, custom builds where the logic is the product. The platform decision is made after the requirements are written, and we will tell you when the cheaper platform is the right answer.

  • Shopify theme and checkout work
  • WordPress block-based editing
  • Headless where it genuinely pays off

Technical SEO and performance foundations

Semantic markup, one H1 per page, canonical tags, an accurate XML sitemap, structured data matched to visible content, image and font optimisation, and redirect mapping on rebuilds so a new site does not lose the rankings the old one earned.

  • Core Web Vitals tuned pre-launch
  • Search Console and analytics setup
  • Redirect map on every rebuild
Built around how you sell

Website design and development shaped by the buying journey

A freight platform, a skincare brand and a clinic need different first screens, different proof and different forms. The structure below is what we adapt.

B2B, logistics and professional services

Capability pages that survive procurement review, gated documents, client portals and enquiry forms that capture scope before the first call.

Retail and direct-to-consumer brands

Catalogue structure, product templates, local delivery and instalment messaging, and a checkout path that is treated as part of the design.

Clinics and allied health

Plain-language condition and practitioner pages, transparent fees, and booking flows that respect consent and data handling requirements.

Fintech and SaaS

Product marketing sites with real documentation structure, pricing pages that answer objections, and trial or demo flows wired to your CRM.

Platforms

Custom website development services matched to the right stack

We are not tied to one system. The platform is chosen after the requirements are written, which is the opposite of how most quotes are put together.

Custom builds

A modern server-rendered React stack for anything with real logic behind it: dashboards, calculators, quoting tools, portals and multi-step applications. You get the repository, the deployment configuration and documentation, so you are never locked to us.

Best for product-like websites and anything a template would fight.

Shopify

For retail and direct-to-consumer teams who want to run their own merchandising. Theme development is done against your real catalogue, with collection structure, product templates and checkout treated as design problems rather than settings.

Best for selling online with an in-house team running the store.

WordPress

Lightweight, block-based builds for content and editorial teams, without the plugin sprawl that slows most inherited sites down. Existing WordPress sites are often better restructured and sped up than rebuilt from zero, and we will say so when that is the case.

Best for content-heavy sites with frequent in-house edits.

Web design vs web development

Two disciplines, one accountable team

Most enquiries about web designing and web development start with the same question: where does one stop and the other begin? Here is the honest answer, and why we do not split them.

Web design

The decision layer: information architecture, page structure, hierarchy, typography, interface states and how a visitor is guided from arriving to enquiring. Output is a design system and page designs, reviewed at phone and desktop width before anything is coded.

  • Sitemap and page briefs
  • Visual system and components
  • Conversion path and form design

Web development

The engineering layer: turning those designs into semantic, accessible, fast code, wiring data, integrations and forms, and shipping it to a hosting environment that stays stable. Output is a working site plus the repository and deployment configuration.

  • Front-end build and accessibility
  • Back-end logic and integrations
  • Performance, security and deployment

Why the split causes problems

When a design studio hands files to a separate development firm, the interface gets simplified in translation, accessibility states go missing and no one owns the result. Website design and development handled by one team removes that gap, which is why we quote both halves together rather than as two projects.

  • One scope, one accountable team
  • No fidelity lost at handover
  • One point of contact after launch
Technology

What we build with, and why it matters to you

You should not have to care about the stack, but you should be able to check that the people quoting you do. This is what sits behind our website design and development services.

Front end

TypeScript and React with server-side rendering, component libraries built per project, and CSS written to a token system rather than copied between pages.

Back end and data

Node runtimes, PostgreSQL databases, authentication, role-based access and scheduled jobs for the parts of a site that behave like an application rather than a brochure.

Integrations and APIs

CRM, email, payment, booking and inventory APIs, plus webhooks and third-party endpoints. Where an integration is fragile, we say so and design a fallback instead of pretending it is not.

Content management

WordPress block editing, Shopify's admin, or a headless CMS when editors and developers need to work at different speeds. Whoever edits the site should not need us to change a paragraph.

Hosting and delivery

Edge hosting with CDN delivery, automated deploys from version control, staging environments and rollback. Uptime monitoring and updates are available as a monthly care plan.

Testing and measurement

Cross-device and keyboard testing, Core Web Vitals measured before launch, analytics and enquiry event tracking configured so you can see which pages actually produce work.

How the work runs

From written scope to a site you own

Each stage produces something you can review, so you never approve a finished build you are seeing for the first time.

  1. 01

    Requirements and technical discovery

We review your current site, analytics, enquiry sources and the businesses already ranking for the terms you want. You receive a written scope, a recommended platform and the reasoning behind it before anything is designed.

  2. 02

Sitemap, page briefs and fixed quote

You approve the page list, URL structure and the job each page has to do. Pricing is fixed against that page count, so a change of scope is a decision you make rather than an invoice you discover.

  3. 03

    Design and content in parallel

Interface design and copy are produced together so sections are built around your real proposition, product data and photography instead of placeholder text that gets replaced badly at the end.

  4. 04

    Development and integrations

Build in a staged environment with weekly previews, CRM and payment integrations, consent-aware forms, and accessibility and cross-device testing as work proceeds rather than as a final scramble.

  5. 05

    Launch and handover

Redirects, sitemap submission, analytics verification, performance checks and a training session recorded for your team. Code and hosting access are yours.

  6. 06

    After launch

Hosting, monitoring, updates, content additions and ongoing SEO are available as monthly website care plans. They are optional and priced openly, and the site remains yours either way.

Website development costs

What actually moves the price of a build

Published packages cover the common cases. These five factors explain why two projects with the same page count can quote differently.

Page count

The single largest driver. Our packages scale by pages, and each additional page is priced individually so you can see the cost of a bigger sitemap before committing to it.

Custom functionality

Booking engines, portals, calculators, member areas and CRM or ERP integrations add development time. A brochure site and a quoting application are not the same project even at the same page count.

Content readiness

Copy, product data and photography decide the timeline more often than code does. Projects where content is ready move faster and cost less than projects where it is written during the build.

Ecommerce depth

Catalogue size, variants, shipping logic, tax handling and payment methods change scope significantly. A ten-product store and a thousand-SKU catalogue are different builds.

Ongoing care

Hosting, maintenance and content support are monthly and separate from the build. They are optional, published, and never bundled in silently to inflate a quote.

Prices on our pricing page are listed in Canadian dollars because that is where the studio is registered. Singapore clients are quoted against the same published package structure, so the number you calculate before contacting us is the number the scope is built on.

Scope

What every web development project includes

Pricing is fixed against an agreed page count. Nothing on this list is an upsell added later.

  • Custom design, no purchased template
  • Responsive layouts designed at phone width first
  • Semantic HTML and one H1 per page
  • Search-mapped page and URL structure
  • PDPA-aware consent wording on forms
  • Schema matched to visible content
  • Image, font and script optimisation
  • XML sitemap and indexing setup
  • Analytics, events and enquiry tracking
  • Redirect mapping on rebuilds
  • Documented handover and training
  • Fixed pricing agreed before build

Package prices, additional page costs and website care plans are all published, so you can build a realistic budget before you talk to us.

Choosing a partner

How to compare a web design and web development company

Useful questions to ask any shortlist, including us.

Ask who writes the code and where they sit, whether design and development are the same team, and what you receive at handover. A website development agency that cannot hand over a repository and deployment configuration is selling you a rental, not a build. Ask how performance is measured and what the number is before launch, not after.

Directory lists of the top web development companies are ranked by who pays to be listed at least as often as by output, so treat them as a starting shortlist and nothing more. The best web developer for your project is the one whose recent work looks like the problem you actually have: a catalogue, a portal, a booking flow, a documentation-heavy product site. Ask to see a build of that shape and ask what it cost.

There is no single best website design and development company for every brief, and any shortlist that claims otherwise is selling a ranking rather than a fit. Judge a website design and development agency on three practical things: whether the same people handle design and build, whether the quote separates the one-off build from ongoing care, and whether they will show you a site of similar complexity and explain the decisions behind it. Those answers tell you more than an awards page ever will.

Ask how the quote changes when scope changes, and get the page count in writing. Most disputes on web design and development projects are scope disputes wearing a technical costume. Ask what happens to the URLs you already rank for, because a rebuild without a redirect map is the most common way a new site loses traffic in its first month.

Where we are the wrong fit, we will say so early. If you need on-site workshops in Singapore, a locally registered vendor for grant support, or a very large in-house-style team seconded for months, a Singapore-registered firm is a better answer than a remote studio, and choosing one is not a loss for you.
